The Petersons

This family is what I would call the salt of the earth. They are wonderful and were wonderful to shoot. This sitting found me in Syracuse in the Peterson's front room. They happened to have a stunning red wall that was big enough to use for a backdrop. The kids were great in this sitting. You can usually count on a screaming child in a large family sitting-- but in this one-- there wasn't one in the bunch :) I'm posting three big group shots. At one point the family decided to do a straight face portrait like in the old days. As for the individual families --- they were fun, and the bright red wall definitely added to creating a feeling warmth and coziness.
